It is a kind of writing shorthand for an approach to the state of which I am critical, rather than anything meant about the good people at and around the paper, which, like you, I revere somewhat. If this bothered people at the Guardian I would be a bit horrified and wouldn't use the term and if this is a call not to, I won't in the future. As you say, I am very much part of what the Guardian is doing and my relationship with the paper is important to me.Craig Dearden-Phillipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09481684928301536483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4742385127651266632.post-50660415420816374472011-02-23T11:53:28.628+00:002011-02-23T11:53:28.628+00:00why do you feel the need to be so casually discour...why do you feel the need to be so casually discourteous in that 'Guardianistas' reference. Either the arguments being made are valid, in which case rebut them, or they are somehow outside the pale of polite conversation. In the latter case your own participation in various Guardian events and websites looks odd. Basic politeness doesn't cost much, does it?Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14353606519463989420noreply@blogger.com
